Definition: Full Okoume plywood refers to a multi-layer board whose surface board and all core boards are made of Okoume veneer peeled or sliced, and then glued and hot-pressed in accordance with the principle that the texture directions of adjacent layers of veneer are perpendicular to each other. Usually an odd number of layers (such as 3 layers, 5 layers, 7 layers or more).
Full Okoume plywood is a furniture plywood that focuses on high-end. It is usually positioned as higher-end than ordinary softwood plywood (such as poplar and fir), but its strength and hardness are lower than mainstream hardwood plywood (such as birch and eucalyptus). The price is usually mid-range or above, depending on the thickness and grade.
